Xbox One - RotTR animal spawning problem

I played RotTR a couple of times and enjoyed it. In the second or third play-through, back in February perhaps, I noticed a problem with the game, that no rabbits or deer were spawning beyond a couple of apparently-scripted events. It was almost impossible
to complete the game 100% and pure luck that I was able to complete Baba Yaga; the former because there were nearly no hides for crafting and the latter because there were no deer from which to get livers. At the time I posted on the Square Enix forums, others
had the same trouble but there was no "official" response. Real life took over so I didn't do anything very much until the other day when I had a spare few minutes. I started another game and have now done five repeats going up to the beginning of Soviet
Installation and the same problem is present - no deer or rabbits are spawning. At the beginning of Sovient Installation there should be two rabbits immediately after the first zip-line down from the glacial cavern but there are none. To stress, this makes
completing the game harder, 100% virtually impossible, ditto Baba Yaga. I have tried starting in different save slots, tried rotating the 100% saves around and started in 1, 2 and 3. None of that worked. I deleted local save data. That did not work. I'm
slightly concerned about removing the cloud data as there are about 350000 credits - noting that I've also spent another 100000-odd - for the cards in my profile; if I delete the cloud save are they gone, too? I'll try removing the game and reinstalling before
trying that, which I won't do without reassurance (I've paid for those credits!). I've re-posted the query on the Square Enix forums. Note if I re-load one of the two 100% complete games there are rabbits where there should be rabbits. There are none in
the new games. Please help - is there a solution?

Crazy animal spawning.

They spawn in certain biomes, there's nothing to do to stop the spawning other than alter the island. Animals can only spawn on grass, so if you laid down cobblestone or sand, then they wouldn't anymore.

 

No animals spawning

Well there isn't the first map is full of water just little islands I have a platform 27 blocks high and 27 block away from the island with a barrier around it I have done this on 360 and it worked but for some reason its not working
