Xbox One right analog auto movement

My Xbox One Controllers right analog stick well automatically move forward this is not drifting because the actual stick well not move forward I believe this may be a hardware issue but i'm not sure.

For an example of what happens in a shooter I will automatically look up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Xbox One Elite Controller Issues with Halo 5

While setting up my elite controller last night I noticed that the delay setting on right analog stick would cause movement to slow almost to a stop when pulling left and slightly down. Also when using the instant setting there is drift that takes place
after certain movements. I have a video showing both if you'd like me post it.

I am sure there are plenty of materials to make it out of that would be sturdy. I am so sick of that jerky right analog stick. And having to switch back and forth between the stick and the buttons is stupid, an RPG nightmare. At least this design will free
the thumb. I am sure that another button would be able to act as the analog stick click.

I think trackballs died in the 90s, but maybe they could use infrared to track the movements? or a special finger cover to track the movements?

I just hope this controller gets made ASAP!

Yeah, there are a few videos out there showing the problems. One of the clips on the analog stick base becomes loose or falls off completely. Other videos show extra movement on the thumb sticks themselves.

So tonight I borrowed a mates controller who has not updated his firmware (as he does not know how to).

My firmware on two controllers experiencing the problem is: 1.1.2228.0

The firmware on a friends controller not experiencing the problem is: 1.1.279.2

Just to illustrate on the home screen using the analog stick moving left to right on the old firmware controller it is very responsive.

On the controllers with the latest firmware every 5-6 movement left or right it has a slight pause almost as though the xbox one is buffering the controller input...
