Xbox One Reverse Compatibility Purchase issues

As a XBL Gold Member, I check the offers periodically and when i saw that mirror's edge is the reverse compatible free game for the month I was excited and hoped to obtain it for free. However, I only receive the "See Price" option and no purchase
option. Upon clicking "Continue" I am momentarily flashed with an error message saying "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase through xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox." even though i am attempting this through my Xbox
One. Please help I don't want to miss out on this offer.

So when I saw that dungeon defenders 2 was coming to Xbox one my friends and I were so excited about it. But one thing still bothers us how Xbox has never put the first dungeon defenders on Xbox one, we played it a lot on the Xbox 360 we got to the last
mission and never completed because we upgraded to the Xbox one. No one thing that I think Xbox has been really good at is finding new ways to meet friends and old ways by reverse compatibility so my friends and I will be very appreciative of it if you can
at least consider this idea of bringing dungeon defenders to Xbox one. Thank you so much for what you have done so far and keep up the good work.

Yeah what's is happening is two things first you must have a adult account to make the purchase from xbox.com or xbox one

So your parental acount must have gold not home gold to make the purchase

That error is saying you must make it on your xbox 360

Xbox one still uses the web interface and xbox one family settings are different from xbox 360 hence why you either can use a 360 for purchases that are m rated or not rated game's or a parent making the purchasers

I strongly recommend not putting consoles (or whatever) on top of each other because the heat generated by one console would needlessly make the unused console hot.

If you have an entertainment stand, place the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on different shelves. If I were in this scenario, I would put my other console on the side table that is located on the left side of the table that has my TV / Xbox 360.

Please understand that I'm not against Microsoft implementing the "Backwards Complatibility" thing. Despite the fact that I'm not that Tech-Savvy, creating an Xbox 360 Emulator for the Xbox One is going to be very difficult (but not impossible) because the
players will demand that the Emulator run the games as if it was running on an actual Xbox 360 itself.

Furthermore, I've noticed in regards to the Xbox 360 playing Original Xbox games is that the only ones that work flawlessly / properly are the ones that are made by Microsoft (a perfect example of this is Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf).
