Xbox One returned without being repaired!

The beginning of June my Xbox One began to not function properly. After jumping through every hoop to repair my console, being guided by the online support team, then being guided by telephone support I was guided to the Preview Program Registration Support
section. This section set it up to where I can send my Xbox One in without the 115$ fee for repair. For those who don't know, the preview program extends your warranty if your console begins to properly work during a preview program update. So I shipped my
console off on June 10th. I received my console back today and it was not repaired. The message that came along with my return

" Dear Xbox Customer.

We're sorry to inform you that during our inspection of your Xbox Product, it was identified that it had been opened, modified, or tampered with, and/or its serial number was altered or removed. Because of this, your device is excluded from warranty coverage
and repair under the terms of the Limited Warranty you accepted when you purchased and used your Xbox Product. As a result, Microsoft will not provide you with repair or replacement service for Your device. "

The thing here is that my console is a year one launch edition that I paid over 500$ for. You don't open or tamper with that. Since Microsoft is essentially calling me a liar and or a fraud, how do I go about finding out if they actually did anything to my
console being that I found a loophole to prevent paying for my repair??

Repair Status

Just received word my xbox is being returned via UPS. The xbox status order has not changed since I first reported the issue. The status is still attending packaging to customer? So if it's been returned is it repaired??

 

Sorry, we are unable to play this disc.

My roommate had this same problem. Just return it or send it to xbox for repair.

 

If the warranty seal within the console is found broken your warranty is void and MS will not accept your console for repairs for:

"Attempt to disassemble, decompile, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, modify, further sublicense, distribute, or use for other purposes the Services, any game, application, or other content available or accessible through the Services, or any
hardware associated with the Services or with an Authorized Device"

The break of the warranty seal is a physical action, of tampering or opening the console, that voids any other service that might be provided to your console. At this point your only possibility is to seek help through a local repair service.

 

Thank you for your response. I have never opened my console. I have spent too much money on it to be doing something that I have no knowledge of on my console. If I had spent the 115$ it costs to repair or refurb then my seal and or serial number would be
in order. The seal on the back is still on the console and it's bent down so they have handled it. Why not just remove the entire seal if they want to make it appear as if I did something nefarious?
