Xbox One returned for repair after less than a month

I recently bought an Xbox One but within less than a month I started having issues with the disc drive. I only had one physical game when I bought the console, so this disc just sat inside the Xbox for the most part. It was only when I bought a second disc
and began swapping them round I encountered the problem; the console would flat out refuse to play any disc 9 times out of 10. I tried to get an advance exchange but was told by support that because I owned the Titanfall Xbox One; it had known issues that
would prevent this happening. I was then told to send it for repair, which I did (after numerous problems with UPS). So now I am just waiting for it to be returned.

I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and wether or not you were compensated by Microsoft on this issue?

Xbox One Disc Drive Problems Surface

I have one!! Luckily it works more often than not. Ill return mine for repair after the holidays though.

 

Warranty problem

I bought my Xbox One S less than a month ago and it does not work anymore. When I register my device for repair, I am told that the warranty is expired. I do not understand and would like to get support.

 

My day one console wouldn't read discs at all, it was sent for repair and i got it back after 9 days. In the box was a code for a free month of gold. I guess that was my compensation.

 

I got titanfall xbox and whenever I tried to play titanfall it would crash. Couldn't get passed the tutorial and it would crash. Sent it in 2 months ago, and still do not know when I will be getting my xbox.

 

Wow, you're scaring me dude...2 months? Microsoft has had my xBox for about a month now even though the 'estimated completion' date passed a week ago...and it doesn't even say repaired yet, just 'received at service center'. This is beyond frustrating...And
as a lifetime PS player who decided to give xBox a try with these new consoles, not exactly a great introduction.

 

Yeah I was at "Received at service center", then when I contacted escalation team 2 weeks ago, they reprocessed my order and now it says, "Packing material received by customer" and I was told to ignore this. They reprocessed it twice so far.
