    Xbox one restarting when launching games?


    Since yesterday, my Xbox one would restart/crash every time we started up a game or at least got to playing it before it happening again. It doesn’t seem to be happening when I watch on streaming services and I’ve been looking into if this is another software issue or something else.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. When you are asking to restart? Are you talking about launching the game again? Starting a brand new game? If just wanting to start the game again, there are two ways. One if it is in one of the little boxes on your home
    screen, hit A on the box. If not you can go to my games and apps under games, and launch from there. If you are wanting to restart the game from scratch, there are usually options within all games to start a new game.

    Games crashing

    What I have found when dealing with issue of game crashes is restarting my xbox and then shutting it down and waiting about 5 minutes before launching the game again.

    I am having the same issue. I purchased it on disc.

    I have tried restarting the Xbox One S twice.

    I have also quit the app numerous times and tried to restart.

    As a last rersort I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

    Same issue. When I try to launch it it just kicks back to the dashboard.

    Check your network connection. You may need to restart your network hardware to reestablish a connection to your ISP.
    Would a network issue stop games from launching?

    OP: Which platform are you on? Xbox (XB1 or Series X/S) or PC? Is it all games or just particular ones? When you say loading, do you mean the game won't launch or they won't install?
