    xbox one restarting instead of turning off console


    This is more of a nuisance than a serious issue. I press and hold the power button on my controller for 2 seconds. Select "Turn Off Console", and on random occasions, my console will just restart itself instead of turning itself off. I'm on Power Save Mode
    if that makes a difference.

    Hi! Make sure to perform a power cycle/hard reset instead of just restarting the console by turning it off and on again:

    Hey there! I would first try a full reboot. If you have the New Xbox One Experience, open the guide, go down to Settings, then Restart console. If you're on the original experience, go to Settings, Power, Restart Xbox.

    If that doesn't help, go to Turn off console instead, and unplug the power from the back of the console for 5 minutes
