Can you check, if the HDMI cable itself is broken and try connecting the console with a different HDMI cable?

Also try the following: Eject any disc if necessary, and then shut down the console by holding the power button on the console for about 15 seconds.

After holding the power button for 15 seconds, let go of the power button, and now press and hold the eject button and the power button to turn on the console. The console will beep once when you press the power button, and when you keep holding both the
eject and power button, the console will beep a second time a few seconds later.

After the second beep, let go of the two buttons, and check if the console is able to show a correct image after booting.

If a different HDMI cable and that button combination also shows that weird picture, it might be that the console is defective. If you want to register the console for repairs, you can go to

  5. Looks like an error with the color depth/space settings. Let's try some stuff over in the display settings. Go to the display settings in the Xbox settings (see
    here
    ).

In the "Video output" settings, look under "Video fidelity". The default settings (at least for me) are as follows:

    - Color depth: 24 bits per pixel (8-bit)

    - Color space: Standard (Recommended)

If it's anything different, set it to the above. If you're still having the weird colors and the settings are the same, maybe check out what happens if you change one of those settings.

Also go to "Advanced video settings", and ensure "TV connection" is set to
    Auto-detect (Recommended).
You can also try setting it to HDMI, but this option can override some default settings.

    Hope this helps!

    Xbox one display messed up

Hey there. I can't get your screenshot to load, but I would first try this:

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second beep
    occurs.

Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options, and then TV Resolution.

If that doesn't help, run through the rest of the troubleshooting here:
    support.xbox.com/.../tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected

Even though you don't have a blank screen, that page will help you through your display settings. Also, check your TVs settings to make sure they are set properly and that nothing was changed

    Help with dashboard glitch?

Sounds like your console is kind of messed up in firmware. But other than the dashboard displaying other stuff then whats sopposed to be there, the console works fine?

    May update Messed up display

Have you tried resetting your video settings, and then re-configuring your display? If this doesn't do the trick, please try a different video cable.
