    Still since the time it came out you guys can't seem to make 1080p games i paid 500$ for my console would be about time you guys wake up and do something about it because SONY PS4 is crushing you guys for now.....This is ridiculous i got both consoles and
    still im buying my games on PS4 cause most of the time the resolution/FPS are better ......just wow!

    What games are not in 1080p? I don't see why people focus so much on resolution when most of the time it's barely noticeable. And is it really that bad? Isn't it that some Xbox One games are 900p? That's not far off from 1080p. There are some Xbox One games
    with 1080p resolution and I bet more that come out will also have 1080p resolution, it can sometimes take time, have some patience.

    Since you have a PS4 I don't see your problem. Buy the game on which platform has the better version.

    A higher resolution doesn't automatically make the game better.

    lol. 900p and 1080p is almost no difference. go ahead and count those 180p differences on your tv and tell me how it went, Since most games are 900p.

    I thought you were trying to imply that 1080i is only half the resolution of 1080p. That's why I said it wasn't true. Just wanted to point out that 1080i does display a full frame of 1080 lines of pixels just as 1080p does.

    At least you can agree that its personal preference and that some people might prefer 1080i over 720p... if only Microsoft could understand this point...

    Xbox one resolution

    The part about 720p and 1080i containing the same amount of data isn't true. Interlaced just sends the data to the TV in 2 separate fields. The fields are combined to form a complete frame. How the TV does this is different for each type of display, but
    the result is the same in that a complete frame of 1080 lines is shown on the screen. So 1080i displays the same number of pixels as 1080p.

    The only problem with interlaced is that if a fixed pixel display does the deinterlacing poorly there can be a "combing" effect, which basically looks like a few lines slightly out of place during fast motion (happens quickly and is not that noticeable to
    most people) or what Microsoft refers to as a "slight blur" and that is their entire justification for not including 1080i output.

    1080i is still a higher resolution than 720p and many people prefer the higher resolution of 1080i over 720p, because their TV might handle interlace content better than other TVs and they might not even notice the combing or "slight blur".
