    Xbox one resolution issue


    Xbox power came out and in order to turn it back on I had to restart in low resolution mode and am unable to change back to higher resolutions, as when I attempt to it goes to a black screen.

    The cable itself is fine

    If you haven't already, I would suggest trying to soft reset your Xbox console before trying again!

    you unplugged the hdmi while the unit is on, this can damage the port and other items, there is enough charge in the connector to damage a board and hdmi, i have done this on other devices before, only option now is to get it repaired.
