  1. Xbox One Resets Time at EVERY Power Off

    Hello,

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum. My Xbox One resets the date/time to Sep 1, 2014 EVERY TIME I power it back up! This is very annoying and has the effect of screwing up the display and operation of my game Saved Files.

I've seen several other posts about the date/time reset problem, but I've not seen any solutions here. This seems to be something totally related to the Xbox One - I didn't have this problem with the 360. But, further, it seems to
be something that "broke" recently, i.e., within the past few months. I don't recall having this problem with the Xbox One earlier in the year.

    Xbox One Date Glitch

Hey,everyone. I'm Jeremiah and I need some help with a glitch. The glitch happens every time the power surges, goes off and comes back on or unplug my Xbox One. Every time one of these events happen, the date always resets to Sep. 1,2014 and the time resets
to 11:00 PM. How can I fix it and prevent it from happening?

Xbox one wifi, desperate for help

I've had my Xbox one for a little over a month and I just got home from vacation and I tried to play it but it reset my connection and now when I try to reconnect to my wifi the Xbox will shut off and reset itself every single time. I thought it was my power cord but I tried 6 different ones and I'm still having the same issue. I can play games offline but when trying to connect to the Internet and my wifi signal the Xbox will just shut off and turn back on with some weird Xbox starting screen

    cant log into xbox live

I'm getting this same issue. And while doing a hard reset of the console does fix it, I run into this problem every time I power the console off and turn it back on again. I'm getting sick and tired of having to power cycle my console after turning it
on every time. Is there a permanent way to fix this issue?

    Upload Studio/ Game DVR Help!

I fixed my no sound in upload studio issue. On your Xbox one, press and hold the power button until your Xbox one turns off. The. Press and the power button after a minute and turn it back on. This is a hard reset of your console. It should be done after
every update just like you would on a PC.

Xbox series x needs to reset internal power supply every time it turns off

Hi, Jeremy my name is Jhon, and will be a pleasure help you

I understand your frustration with having to reset the internal power supply every time you turn on your Xbox Series X. It's certainly not a normal behavior, and it's worth addressing before any further issues arise. Here are several troubleshooting steps you can try:

    Power Cycle:

Completely unplug the power cord from the console and the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds. This helps to clear any residual power in the system.
Plug everything back in and try turning on the console normally.

    Check Power Outlet:

Use a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the current outlet.
Avoid using extension cords or power strips, as they can sometimes interfere with power delivery.

    Inspect Power Cord:

Examine the power cord for any damage or fraying. If it appears worn, try using a different compatible power cord.

    Update Console:

Ensure your Xbox Series X is running the latest system software. Go to Settings > System > Updates to check for updates.

    Factory Reset:

If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset. This will erase all data and settings, so back up your games and data beforehand. To reset:

Go to Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console and follow the on-screen instructions.

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or need additional clarification.
