Xbox One Reset Stuck On Preparing Console

Power cycle network hardware and console.

I've been having the same issue since an update. The console will be fine after leaving it but after about 20 minutes it grinds to a halt and everything stops working. My Xbox one X is only 17 months old with barely any use. It seems like a HDD issue but
I'd expect a hard drive to last longer than this.

Network is fine. The console started misbehaving yesterday. Menu options not responding, all commands timing out. Did a reset last night, seemed fine after. Powered up today, started doing the same thing. Did the reset and have been stuck on this screen
for a solid 15 minutes.

Did the reset console with leave games and apps. Console powered itself off.

When I turned it back on, screen said it was preparing the console and then the signal between the console and the TV was lost and the console powered itself off.

I tried to power it back on, came up preparing console again, it is now stuck at 61%

Unfortunately that didnt cure it so i decided to reset my xbox wiping everything and now its stuck on preparing console 51% has been for about 30-40 mins now. RIP xbox.
