Xbox one reputation system

I have been reading about how the xboxreputation system has been negatively affecting overwatch players who choose certain characters during competitive play. I purchased overwatch with my own $60 and truly enjoy playing Winston, Symmetra and Zennyatta but
certain players I get placed with often complain that I am "throwing" the game because of my character choices. Certain players talk about how many accounts they have and how they are going to report me with all of their accounts along with their friends so
I can no longer play competitive overwatch because of my character choices. Mind you I have been in the top 3% in overwatch for consecutive seasons so I am by no means throwing any matches and truly care about my rank. This initially happened to my account
'' so I was forced to create a new account 'waaazzzzzzzaaaa' which last night went from good player straight to avoid me....... I am extremely fustrated that I can no longer play a game in which I truly enjoy and was wondering if anyone has
heard of a solution to this besides playing world of tanks until your reputation gets better. I really do not want to switch over to PS4 but if I am unable to play these games that I pay $60 for because immature people take advantage of the reputation system then
I might be forced to make the switch. Microsoft I have been a loyal xbox player since the original xbox came out (one of the biggest Halo fans), and truly do not deserve both of my accounts to be on avoid me.... please help me out and fix the reputation system
especially for overwatch which seems to be the game with the most abuse of the system. I don't think its a random occurance that I never had any issues with my reputation until competitive overwatch came out this past year.

According to this website blocking and muting does effect reputation.

The rep system is stupid and needs to be abolished in my opinion.
