  1. Xbox One Reputation System Guide V1.00

As of right now, no one outside of that one person I've mentioned in the OP has that rep and no one knows exactly how to get it. All I can say is to play online often with lots of people without getting reported, but there are sore losers that would block
people just for beating them and that issue plagued Halo: MCC so much that 343 Industries had to adjust certain playlists to ignore the player's block list. That person with the Superstar rep is a Microsoft employee, but even people such as Major Nelson and
e who have been with the Xbox division for years(e has been with them since the beginning as he has every Xbox Live badge) have reps of Good.

That gamertag was likely involved in a test of the reputation system and that rep may happen to just no be enabled yet.

    :)

Sad that people can report with no basis, and there is no proper method to truly support those that do well. All you can do is report negative activity, and that is all thinned skinned immature people do.

  6. Lots of interesting stuff here, but the Xbox one system is broken. How do I know? Subscribe to the Xbox One support forum #13 Policy Enforcement. The posts don't show up unless moderators approve them, but if you subscribe, you will see all the complaints
they are receiving for the bad reputations. (Hint, it's a lot).

I am one unfortunately one of them. I play BF4 and generally keep my mic off, don't tbag, don't camp, and rarely use any of the guns considered OP anymore unless my team is struggling. I do not pick up the 50 cal power snipers. I always try to revive,
repair or resupply whenever teammates ask, or I see that they need it, and play the objectives.

But the problem I have is the simple fact that I'm good at BF4... I have almost 500 hours in to it, I have a high K/D (around 3), high KPM (around 1.5), high SPM (around 500, high for playing mostly TDM) high skill (around 450) and high W/L (around 80%)
. In the last month, I have 10 reports of unsporting conduct and cheating, which are completely false. Sure I occasionally I trash talk people who use unsporting conduct or camp or pick up the power weapons every round, but I usually tell them to stop ,
and as a result I have one report for messaging. I've played on Xbox live for over 10 years and never cheated in an online multiplayer game. I agree with some of the earlier posters about people with this problem often being really bad trash talkers. But
I'm not. When I play against good people, I often send them messaging saying good game and such, because I respect the game and other players that much. But I'm just a good player who is regularly topping the leaderboards and regularly being reported by scrubs
who can't take losing to someone better than them.

Say what you want about the people who get bad reps from trash talking, but it is really unfair for people who take the time to get skilled at a game to get banned for false reports of cheating. That is not fair, and the system is broken.

A Blue Illusion, yeah GENERALLY I don't t-bag. That guy had been t-bagging me for several rounds and picking up the 50 cal snipers EVERY round. If you couldn't tell, he had the bipod out for the M82, definitely a pro-camping scrub. So he more than deserved
it. I don't knife people because I think its counterproductive and will sometimes end up with my teammates getting killed (check my service record, I think I have less than 100 knife kills out of over 35000 kills). So normally I just shoot people, unless they
deserve to be embarrassed. So I knifed and t-bagged that guy for being a salty sore loser who started the t-bagging. People t-bag a me a decent amount, and I haven't reported a single person for it (though I probably could), and usually I ignore it, but sometimes
people spam me with messages and t-bag enough where I feel compelled to give it back.

  10. Since when is t-bagging inappropriate? It'd be a stretch to say it violates anything in the CoC except for maybe material of a sexual nature. And that is quite a stretch. Though t-bagging's meaning is clearly sexual, the act of crouching over an opponents
    body in game is not.

I'd also draw your attention to the part of the CoC that says you will not be banned or suspended for being too good. So please stop diverting away from the t-bagging, because that isn't why I received a bad reputation.

The reason I got a bad rep was because I've received numerous false reports for cheating.

Also, that's the CoC for Xbox 360 I believe as xbox one does not have a system for positive feedback.

  11. Actually, it was you that said you "don't tbag"... clearly you find it inappropriate on some level if you claim you don't do it, otherwise you'd have zero need to make such a claim.

I simply looked at your profile and within a few seconds, found that you did something that you claimed you don't do. Regardless of either one of our opinions on tbagging, it was secondary... the primary point I was making is credibility.

  12. Im not saying you're not right just clarifying that generally my behavior online does not include t-bagging, and that clip is rather an abberation. I mad the claim because my online behavior is mostly respectable and though I may drop the bag on someone
from time to time, it does not characterize the majority of my play. A lot of people with rep issues are the kind of people that message, constantly t bag, harass teamkill, steal vehicles etc. For people like that, a rep like that is earned. I gave the information
about how I play because I'm not like that and my reports were due to people who werent as good as me getting mad. I know it's dumb to be bragging on the internet about skill in a video game, but it's actually what happened and I have the stats to back up
my claim. And like the CoC said, you shouldn't be punished for being good.

THAT is the issue I'm trying to bring attention to as it is detrimental to the community for good players to have the reps tarnished by false reports. It's not fair and it's broken and it really needs to be fixed otherwise people will start bailing on xbox.
The enforcement team is receiving 100s of complaints a day about this issue. Some reps are justified others like mine aren't. For the sake of those that have an unfairly earned reputation, the system needs to be fixed. It's a guilty until proven innocent system
and the result is hugely problematic.

It seems to be a recent trend for people to come onto the forums and claim that they've been penalized for being "too good".

While I've never said that I believe 100% that the system is infallible, I have always felt it was better than nothing. Although this recent trend does tend to make one wonder just how accurate it is.

The problem is that there are so many people who come into these forums and complain about being in the red, and yet it takes very little "looking into their behavior" to see they aren't quite as innocent as they claim. I can't count how many times someone
has posted they have "done nothing wrong" and yet barely a sentence later state "All I did was..." followed by something inappropriate.

I say this only from "another gamer's" access to profile information, so I have no idea how much access... and to what information... XBLPET has, aside from the fact that it's a lot more access than gamers do.

It's not up to me to pass judgement, but I can say this. If I were to give you (and anyone else who is having rep issues) advice from another gamer (and I guess I am?), I'd say the best way to present your case is to make sure what you say is accurate. Even
if it means you have to 'fess up' to the occasional tbagging.

Just me, but I don't find the 'occasional' tbagging all that big of a deal and I've even done it a time or so myself... and just like you said... only in response to someone else initiating it. But what I (and I'm sure many others) do find to be a reason
to really question the credibility of someone's post is when they claim 'complete' innocence and yet it only takes a few minutes to find evidence to the contrary.

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this whole trend that seems to be happening though. If it is a problem, I hope it gets resolved and fast.

  14. Yeah, I don't mind admitting to a t-bag here and there, but that's hardly unsporting conduct or harassment . And you're right for being incredulous about me saying I'm being reported for being good. I would be too.

The other thing I forgot to mention is that I usually play with a friend or 2, and they're similar skill to me, as a result we often win 10-15 games in a row, and rather frequently the lobbies will die because the other team gets sick of losing (I would
assume that's why the lobbies die). Furthermore because I mostly play with friends, more often than not we're in party chat, so I don't communicate with people. If I lose a game, sometime's I'll message a player that I've been frustrated by to stick around
so I can get a rematch (and if my team isn't awful, or I have my friends to back me up, I usually win the next game). But other than that I basically don't communicate with other players. Go to battlelog and check my recent history and some of my favorited
games (battlelog.battlefield.com/.../xboxone), other than a few bad games from 4 days ago (and though I did really bad some games, I didn't
do anything malicious, I just put the controller down for the night, and told myself I'd try again the next day, which happened to be when I found my reputation level was too low), you'll see what I mean. I really hate talking on the internet about skill,
because you're 100% percent right, no one believes it at this point. But 10 reports of cheating in a month is absurd. I just put a lot of time in learning how to be good by checking weapon stats, watching videos and practicing recoil control. Trust me, I dislike
having to go on the xbox forums and saying oh I am so good I'm getting banned as much as you dislike reading it, but unfortunately the evidence for me is pretty clear. I'm a 10+ year veteran of XBL at this point, and I wouldn't risk losing all my achievements,
gamerscore, DLC and games bought through XBL marketplace to cheat at a 2 year old game.
