    Xbox One Replaced Warrenty Question.


    Hi, I recently sent my xbox one console in for warrenty because the disc drive stopped reading discs 80% of the time, It appears they have sent me a new console the email status update they sent me has a new serial number, when I went to the manage devices
    on xbox online service center the new console already registered but says:
    Your product is no longer supported for out of warranty service. For more information, please visit
    xbox.com/original360, and the option to request a repair is grayed out, im just wondering what this means? it also says it's covered by the standard warrenty until march 2016. I couldnt find any info
    on this Thanks.

    My question would be to you is when did you buy your xbox? Also if it's still under warrenty take it back. Sounds like you have some serious hardware issues on the motherboard itself. I wouldnt waster anymore time messing with it. Call xbox and get it replaced.
    My friend had the simular problems that you are having and he ended up replacing the xbox. Hope that helps.

    Xbox One Replaced Warrenty Question.

    Your replacement console should be covered either for 3 months for the replacement or until your current warranty expires (whichever is longer).

    I think what happened there was a mistype. You should contact phone support for further clarification on the matter.

    ok thank you I contacted them, it seems after a repair or replacement it takes a awhile to update. since your only allowed 1 repair at a time, once my repair case is closed, they will update it and I will be able to request a repair in the future if needed.
