Xbox One repair

I am a huge fan of the product and have always been loyal to microsoft and Xbox. However I am more than frustrated about something that has recently happened. A month ago my game would shut down randomly. When I turn it on it would bring up a screen about
insufficient ventilation. I contacted support for it and we went through several "troubleshooting" methods before it was deemed that it should be sent in for a repair. I complied and sent it off to get repaired. I will give it up to Xbox because it was a free
repair with me just paying the cost of shipment. Fast forward to last night when I had the opportunity since getting my console back to connect it and play. There was a system update and everything was going fine.
THEN during the update the console turns off. At the time I was thinking that it was just restarting like some updates on computers and other electronics will do. I waited a few minutes it did not come on. I turned it on myself and SURPRISE
the same screen about insufficient ventilation comes up on my screen. The very screen that was the catalyst for me sending it my console for repair in the first place. So yet again I contact support and I am put through the ringer about trying to solve it
even though I know what it is and the writing on the wall was that I would have to spend more money and have time taken away from my game to send it in again to have it repaired again because it seems as if nothing was done in the first place. You would have
to understand my confusion that in turn became frustration. I have sent it in and it on its way to be "repaired". I am happy about this and it is crazy to think that it was not done when it sent the first time. You guys do try to alleviate the issue by sending
a month free of Xbox Live Gold but this time it is not enough. I had to spend even more money on something that should have been fixed several weeks ago. I need answers and something else because this is not what should be done to customers that already spend
a lot of money on your products. To have to go through this again is wrong and I do not want to go further with other actions. I expect some reply on this because the answers I got and the supposedly "easy fix" does not work.

Xbox 360 repair

have a broken 360, that iirc got the RROD. i imagine the cause is this thing

. would replacing this part do the trick, or would its failure/breakage, caused more things to go bad?

this thing has been sitting for years now, so i just wanna see if i can fix it easily/inexpensively. if not, its trash anyways.

Hate to be the one to break this to you...If you are expecting a response from Microsoft, you picked the wrong forum.

 

MS will usually compensate your XBL , so there's that, lol.

Obvious question: Is the console getting enough ventilation?
