    XBOX ONE REPAIR


    I just wanted to see how many others have experienced the very poor customer service we get from Microsoft and Xbox with regards to having a repair done by the Microsoft Service Center.

    I sent my Xbox One into Microsofts Service Center for a disc not reading issue and paid what they charged and they did the repair but I did not get any info on what the repaired or replaced and I reach out to support and I have got nothing but the runaround,
    customer support says the info is only available by the service center btu it seems no one knows how to contact them except to mail them a letter to request this info.

    Not only is it impossible to reach a human being but when you do you cant understand them and you just go in circle as they just want to repeat the standard company line.

    I paid for the repair and I am entitled to know what was done and I am going to reach to the BBB AND MY STATES AG.

    Any other ideas from the community would be awesome.

    have a broken 360, that iirc got the RROD. i imagine the cause is this thing

    . would replacing this part do the trick, or would its failure/breakage, caused more things to go bad?

    this thing has been sitting for years now, so i just wanna see if i can fix it easily/inexpensively. if not, its trash anyways.

    XBOX ONE REPAIR

    In my experience ( I have had two xbox ones repaired and my 360 was at the service centre a lot during its warranty) They don't actually repair anyparts. Its much easier for them to give you a refurbished unit. That has happened twice to myself. I wouldn't
    say that was a bad service however as it speeds up the return time.

    thanks for the reply but this was out of warranty and they fixed my unit they didn't replace it as it was the COD EDITION

    When you get your Xbox back from repair, make sure it's plugged into a wall outlet. Try not to use a power strip.

    If you paid for your repair, you should be getting another 90 days of warranty after your repair.

    Hi HappyJorge,

    Noises as you said and generally hardware related. If you don't do anything with the request it will just fall off and nothing will happen. If the noise comes back and you are out of your warranty period then you will need to pay the cost for the repair.
    My advise is if you're close to the end of your warranty then it may be a good idea to get it serviced for free.

    No they are not programmed to self destruct. It was just an unfortunate time for it to break.

    What exactly is going on with the console and what have you tried to correct the issue?
