Xbox One Repair Wrong Tracking Number

Xbox now offers fake tracking number to shut you up...If you have Xbox that need repairs, they will force you to use advanced exchange or you will never be able to track it. First of all I paid for expedite shipping, FedEx delivered it in two days, Microsoft
sent me an email four days later saying that's when it arrived. Now they said my Xbox has been sent and offered me a tracking number....FedEx.com doesn't recognize it, neither does the FedEx representatives...Called back again a lady had me on the phone for
30min after telling me she is tranfering me and that never happened....if you want your Xbox repaired, you will end up paying for shipping and purposely getting by them..Microsoft Repair Service the worst thing Microsoft came up with....Try Sony

Where is my xbox

Sent my xbox one in for repair. Xbox said it was shipped back to me on the 3/25/14 and gave me a tracking number but fedex said that tracking number doesnt exist. I want my $500 console back. What can i do?

 

Xbox Returns

I sent my Xbox One X off for repair last week and I was able to track it with a UPS tracking number. It is now on it's way back to me but I have not received a tracking number for it's return.

 

How did you get the tracking number? Via email, verbally on the phone or other?

 

so MS gave you a tracking number that Fedex doesnt recognize nor does Fedex CS state is a fedex tracking number... by any chance did the tracking number start with USPS or UPS

 

The tracking number was sent by email by Xbox customer support specialist while I am on the phone with him. I confirmed with him that the shipping is done through FedEx and the tracking number on email itself leads to FedEx.com. And there is also another
thread for similar problem except they have locked it without offering a solution....loving how they are treating this mess

 

I have done an advance exchange on both my X1 console and my Kinect.... 100% successful....

 

Can't afford another $500 hold sir and shouldn't have to but I will let them do it as they please..I respect the power play

Sony is a console manufacturer and game maker/publisher, I don't think they have a shipping service comparable to FedEx or UPS.



How long ago did you receive the tracking number? Sometimes there is a delay between when it is generated and when it becomes track-able.

 

Very aware of what Sony does...that's in reference to their no hold repair procedure and fast service. The package is sent on Thursday.. considering I was able to track my FedEx shipment starting from the time the label was printed...Ieexpected a similar
procedure....I will shut up and wait

 

I'm having the same problem Xbox said they shipped backed my Xbox to me on 11-5 and it's been six business days and When I go on fedex to track it, it says it cannot be found. I talked to a person on Xbox and he said if nothing happens by the 18th there
gunna escalate it. Can someone please tell me this is normal because. I don't know if they lost it

I am having the same problem. I was sent an email on the 5th as well. Still waiting for my Xbox.

 

I had a similar experience with the bogus tracking number when I sent in my Day One controller, but everything worked out OK in the end.

 

Too bad sending your console in is free if you don't get advanced exchange. So they're is something your not telling us.

Also if you chose expedited that extra cost is on you. Has nothing to do with returns/repairs.

Check your info today. My tracking number finally shows activity. They created the label on the 6th but did not give to Fed Ex until the 17th
