Xbox one repair time? Fedex expedited shipping?

I was just wondering if anyone knew the repair time for the xbox one? I sent it from PA for disc read issues. Also If anyone else got the fedex expedited shipping where microsoft charges you 11 bucks and the description says if you take it to fedex you will
get a free shipping label, packaging, and box. I took my order number to fedex and they said that Microsoft only paid for the shipping label so I had to spend another 16 dollars to have it packaged in bubble wrap and a box. Has anyone else gone through this?

Xbox Repair and Expedited Shipping

I had the exact same issue. I paid for expedited shipping. There was no provided label for me to print, only an SR # (that they indicated I should give FedEx as the RMA number). The clerk at Fedex had no idea what to do (after an hour of phone calls and
hold time). Speaking with another Fedex location, I was told that I would have to pack it myself (but at least she could see the RMA record). I paid for expedited shipping and the same note was in my email. "Note If you've paid for an expedited shipping option
for your service order, locate a FedEx Office Store where you’ll be provided with a free box, packing material and an expedited shipping label. Don't go to any other locations as you may be charged for packing."

Unbelievable.

 

Xbox One Repair

Hi,

My Xbox One has been having trouble reading discs lately so I am sending it in. I decided to pay for expedited shipping since it came with a free box for shipping. So, I headed over to the FedEx Office (like the confirmation email told me to) and they tried
to charge me 15.00 for a box. When I told them I bought the expedited shipping with a free box, they said that was not possible. Help!? I tried to reach XBox support through the chat and through twitter, but I have yet to get a response. (Chat wouldn't from
my end)

With that said, I would not have gone to FedEx without a box if I had known that they would charge me. I ended up buying the box from FedEx after waiting for Xbox Support for 40 mins. I am not happy about that experience.

Is there anyway I can get my money back for the shipping?

As for the the fedex expedited shipping - If you did select that option, FedEx should have provided you with the free box and package materials. It seems like there might have been a miscommunication on FedEx's side. - Go ahead and call the support number
1-800-4-MY-XBOX and they will most likely be more than happy to cover your extra costs.

Did they cover the cost for the packaging cause I had do the same thing.

 

I should have just did the advanced exchanged cause they will probably send a different Xbox anyways from what I hear

Xbox do not cover for The boxing material... Expedited is not expedited it is still standard ground.
