Xbox One Repair Ordeal

So I've been playing downloaded titles for the past month just passing the time till my destiny came and today was that day, only problem is when I put it in my xbox it wouldn't read the disc, so after 2 hours of ejecting the disc and putting it back in
I realised I'd have to get it repaired. So i contacted Microsoft support and spoke to a polite person called Adelaine who, after what seemed like an age of asking questions, told me it would indeed need repairing and i had 2 options, i could either send of
my console and wait the best part of a month to get it back with no money in the equation what so ever, or i could let them hold £300 of my hard earned cash so they can give me a new console with the idea being i would get the money back when they receive
my broken console. Now i'm not saying i don't trust microsoft with my money..... but i don't! i also don't trust the mail service, so if my xbox got lost in the post i wouldn't see that £300 again. after just about a second and a half i made the decision to
send off my console for repair, hopefully i'll get it back before destiny 2 comes out!

P.S. i booked 2 weeks off work to play destiny an it looks like i'm going to spend all that time looking at the dusty outline of my xbox one......... thanks microsoft, just 1 of the many reasons i chose xbox over playstation again!!

e66 error during update

After researching this, I have come to the same conclusion, this XBox just will not do the update. Lucky for Xbox my hubby is willing to buy another one. Not me. I bought this one..and the last one. I am not much of a gamer anymore for one thing, but we
had such an ordeal and got terrible customer service when we sent it in for repair on the red ring of death, had to send it for repair twice and I never played it again. My hubby did, though. I refuse to send it a third time. I will tell my hubby to buy him
another one. For the price of shipping and repair, I can buy a new one for about the same I am sure.

 

Xbox one repair issues

Usually they email you the shipping label the next day, you just have to print it. So far that's been the quickest parts of the repair order for me. Had I'd known what an ordeal this was going to be I would of returned it where I bought for replacement.
Had to have my 360 repaired and didn't go thru what I been dealing with for the Xbox one.

 

My Xbox just stopped working -.- turns on but nothing else whatsoever, no image no nothing,(i began with green screen of death and escalated from there) so i rang the customor support line because their *** online repair section keeps *** up and crashing
before i can fill out a service order, they continued to Waste my time with ignorant questions about troubleshooting i had already done like 50 times, then told me to try and download their Offline system diagnotics software which also did nothing! So now
my Xbox is bricked and their *** repair system still doesn't Work, so now i have to have a conversation with another annoying customor support employee tomorrow, whom will most likely ask the same dumb question and Waste even more of my time that should be
spent enjoying my Xbox. Thanks alot Microsoft....
