Xbox one repair issues

That's some terrible luck. I had to send mine in last week for a failing CPU and it arrived 3 days later in TX. I received an email yesterday saying my system is being shipped back to me. It came with a tracking number. Hopefully it's not broke like everyone
else

Received an email from global support today. The service request # was wrong because they put in the wrong serial # for my console. But they assured me my console is all most done! I wonder how much longer, and what shape it will be in when I receive it
(working or non-working, unblemished they way I sent it or damaged.) . Some games I want to try but don't dare buy them till I know if I'll be able to play them any time soon.

 

Another email from global today. Seems as tho they are confused as to which console is mine and if they are fixing it. Also asked about the non- working console that was sent back as soon as I received it ( per instructions by phone support). I doubt that
this is ever going to be resolved, and wonder what my options are now. Getting more disgusted every day. No way to run a business .

 

I just did a regular order repair on Friday due to power issues. My question is how long does the shipping label take to get to my house?

 

I recommend getting it replaced at retail, I took my faulty xbox one back in to the store and was on my way home within 30mins with a brand new titanfall bundle, I was very pleased, this was at Grainger games .

 

Usually they email you the shipping label the next day, you just have to print it. So far that's been the quickest parts of the repair order for me. Had I'd known what an ordeal this was going to be I would of returned it where I bought for replacement.
Had to have my 360 repaired and didn't go thru what I been dealing with for the Xbox one.

After the 1st month, I would have been looking to some Political groups into demanding Congress hold hearings and see exactly just what types of issues X1 has, and what M is doing about it..

Documentation, Documentation, DOCUMENTATION. record everything. That's how you get things done!

 

Here it is all most July and still no Xbox! Sent me a tracking number a week ago and fed ex says it doesn't exist! Global support called, ( while I was at work ) and left a message that they?! Had questions?! That was yesterday. No call back like they said
they would today.Sent me an email that asked if I had received my Xbox yet. No I did not, also gave them a time to best reach me by phone. What course of action do I have now? I believe Microsoft's problem with xboxone is bigger than they want to admit.

 

Personally, I've no idea what to tell you to do at this point.

I'd be screaming bloody murder after waiting this long.

 

To add insult to injury, my son's titanfall xboxone is acting up now! I told him not to do an advanced exchange try to return it to GameStop. Hope he had better luck

 

The advance exchange does work. Keep all documents, request tracking numbers and request a incident # of your phone call into Xbox support.

If possible, return to retailer.... that is always a sure bet. Personally, I would walk away and start fresh.... (easier said than done)
