Xbox one repair issues

First I have heard of that but then again I have never had issues myself with the process. I hope it gets sorted soon for you though buddy because that would just tire me out! Keep us updated bro!

 

Email from support, new repair number and return label to send in my box for repair! Had fed ex package and ship it. Today is the 27th, let's see how long before repair is done, and what condition my Xbox is sent back in. Keeping my fingers crossed that
this issue is almost done.

Wow still not resolved. No one in New Zealand or Australia would have to go through anything like this since we pretty much have better consumer right protection laws over here. If the console went faulty, all we need to do is take it back to the retailer
and they'd offer an on-the-spot refund, complete replacement, or repair, and if sent for repair, under our law, M which believe it does have offices over here, has to repair it within a "reasonable amount of time". Your situation they are not resolving it
within a "reasonable amount of time". We don't have to deal with the manufacturer over here for products under warranty, the retailer has a legal obligation to.

I really hope this gets resolved for you real soon. It's just unacceptable it's like dealing with retailers/businesses who simply don't care or care little

 

I hope when I get it back it is fixed, read the forums and see some people get consoles back still broken.

 

I've read the same too but thankfully I have also read the complete opposite too so lets hope you fall to the right side of the ratio

 

I'm leaning towards Microsoft getting it fixed right. Have to believe they keep an eye on these forums and that they want to appease their customers. No company, no matter how big, wants to lose customers. They wouldn't have changed their plans for Xbox
one if they did, right?

 

I heard they read these forums via a video that was released a small while back. Well, they just said 'forums' but who knows. It'd be nice to see them around here as for your fix mate I too hope its swift and efficient. You've been through console-hell

My console has been signed for at the Laredo facility,today, May 1st. Now, how long for repair? Any guesses anybody? Also, what would you consider an acceptable amount of time. Here's hoping for problem free gaming for everyone !

 

The longest I've ever been without a device (not necessarily a console) that was out due to repairs was about a month. Usually it should only take anywhere between a few days to two weeks though (not counting the time needed to ship it back) from my usual
past experience and from what I've heard from others.

 

That's mostly what I read too ^ I guess it depends on how many other things they have to repair and how complex your repair will be. Hopefully you get it back soon though and in fixed condition

 

From my experiences with my Xbox 360 and the RROD it was quick, 14 days and it was back, I don't see why it would take longer with X1, I would have expected up to 28 days, after that long I would be moaning, a lot.

 

Thanks for the input. I had to deal with the RROD too, don't remember it taking to long. Read all these forums it seems very inconsistent with repairs. Hoping for a quick turn around.

 

So much for a quick turn around! In a week it will be 2 months
