    Is it me or YouTube app is not compatible with the remote... I can not navigate on the youtube app at all..

    It's not just a lack of support for the Xbox One Media Remote. I have a Logitech Harmony Remote that works with the Xbox One and it also doesn't work with the YouTube App. The only device that seems to work with the YouTube app is the controller. It's a
    shame since the Xbox One Media Remote works really well in other apps like Twitch,Crackle and Machinama.

    The media remote is not currently compatible with every app. As stated on its official support page, not every 3rd party app currently supports it. It sounds like YouTube is one of them. You'll have to wait on an update to the YouTube app to support remote
    compatibility.

    you are right .. it seems the xbox youtube app isnt quite compatible with the xbox one media remote

    YouTube App disables IR Remote commands

    The remote works fine with all other apps on Xbox One. It navigates all other Xbox Functionality without any issues. Microsoft's own Smartglass will not control YouTube either.
