I have been on both links, the first link keeps saying it cannot be done now, please try again later, this has been the case since Saturday.

The second link asks for a serial number, confirms the controller is still under warranty and then page not found or takes me back to insert serial number.

Is there no way to contact Microsoft directly?

my xbox control one was not working the buttons , what should I do ? a patch or have to buy a new one is possible? is still under warranty , there is a way of you exchange ? Thanks.

The following link can help you fix your controller. If finish the wizard on the link, and it determines that you need a repair, check if you're under warranty using the serial number under the bar code in the battery pocket of the controller.

This is totally unrelated to the update, the red light on your power supply means that you will need to get the power supply exchanged (if under warranty) or replaced (if not under warranty). You will need to visit this page
here to find out if a warranty is intact, if it is, you can request an exchange. If it's not under warranty you can simply replace it for a new one. The new power supplies cost $35 USD.
