Xbox One - AV Device not recognized. Nuforce Dia. Can we manually enter code or have XBOX One learn?

The Nuforce Dia mii amps with optical inputs are perfect for game consoles and used by many for previous consoles. Why doesn't Xbox One have this device in its database for setup. The remote is simple, volume, on/off, and input select. Anyone figured out
a way to use this device with Xbox one? Also, I'm starting to think the Xbox one can't switch inputs on devices, like have your av receiver switch to the right input...like Xbox 360, or Xbox one as its source. I don't think it can een switch input on the tv
like hdmi 1 or hdmi 2. Anyone using Xbox one with a full AV system, not just tv for sound?

    XBox One Remote Range Extender?

    Hello.

We have an XBox one installed into a large AV cabinet with all out other home IT/WiFi/AV stuff...

The AV equipment serves to TVs and the associated surround sound etc.

In one space, the remotes seem to be too far away. The XBox remotes consistently cut out.

Is there some sort of XBox remote repeater or extender?

    Thanks

  4. Xbox one remote & AV inputs

With the Xbox One Media Remote, there would not be a way to switch AV inputs. It is for controlling the Xbox One console itself and the media on the console only, and thus would have no way to switch your TV's input.

Help please!! What cable do I need to run my XB1 to my reciever

    Hi iTRiCKs -

One typical configuration is to run an HDMI cable:

Out from Xbox One to -> AV Receiver input

Out from AV Receiver -> TV HDMI input

Is this not an option? If not, you could use the S/PDIF output from Xbox One to your AVR.

Help! XBOX 360 connect to LCD Monitor

According the manual there is an AV button on the remote, you press that and can then select the video source and audio source, I have a feeling that once you select the correct audio input you'll be good to go.

Need Logitech Z906 Support - Or remote code learning feature - Urgent

@studbucket33 any ideas for the remote on the small av amp, the Nuforce Dia
    http://www.nuforce.com/dia
    ?

It has only basic functions like on/off volume and input select. All I really want Xbox one to do is use the volume and turn it on and off. I understand it can't switch inputs, thats ok.

Just not sure what code set to use, tried to google it.

Xbox One select correct receiver input?

So your saying that the XBox does change the AV Receiver Input to a default Input? I was under the impression that the AV receiver powered-on to whatever the last Input that was selected when the receiver was powered off.
