Xbox One releases in Japan, being reported as dismal

Xbox One to launch in Japan for September. I don't think the Xbox One will do very well in Japan, unless Microsoft
release some good Japanese games.

 

Tokyo Game Show Sept 19-22nd

Two most likely announcements:

1. Release date
2. 3rd party exclusive from Platinum Games

CBOAT had referred to there being a lot of courting of Japanese Studios so perhaps somea dditional collaborations to be announced as well. It will be odd for MS to be announcing release date for a console and games from Japanese devs in Japan when Japan ain't getting the Xbox for, probably, a year.

 

It might sell better once it has more games developed by Japanese developers. I think it's too westernised at the moment.

mgzin, in this regard; success is determined by the one with the expectations for the console. With that being said. If MS/Xbox wanted to meet say 50,000 sales on the launch to be considered a success, then it is a success.

Now, what about us users who want to see our product that we support find success? Personally I would like to see 100,000+ in sales, then I would consider it a success. But I find that number to be bold

 

I got mine (for a while),that's the only thing that matter.

More 6 billions people don't play videogames,anyways.

@mgzin66 Xbox always fails in japan so this is not a shocker. I cant believe they sold any.
