Xbox one regio lock

Very quick question, I've read that xbox one is region free, but there seems to be some restrictions when pairing US games with EU DLC's.

What I would like to know is, If I buy a xbox one in the US and bring it to EU and play EU games with EU dlcs will I have any issues? Besides buying the console do I need to buy any kind of electrical converter?

Cannot play FIFA 15 is released in American store

Hello

I had pre-ordered FIFA 15 Ultimate Team in the Irish Market. Now it is released in United States. When i setup my Xbox One to United States including time i can't play FIFA 15. Xbox One gives me the message that i have been too early. Why is that? A callcenter
worker said that there is no regio lock for Xbox One games.

Buying Games in USA to play in the Netherlands

Hey Guys,

I live in the Netherlands and have bought a Xbox One (imported from germany).

Because the games are cheaper in USA i'm planning to buy some games there (wallmarkt etc.), next july im going there for a holiday.

Is it possible to buy games there (hardcopy) and play them on my Xbox One console in Holland?

Thought there was no regio lock anymore etc, like pal/ntfc, can someone confirm this?

The issues with pairing the two items would more than likely lie with the different coding between the regions. No one can say which games you would have issues with but you more than likely will.

Also, if you get a console from the US and head over to EU contact phone support. They may be able to work with you to get you a proper power cable.

A little bit of both, I would think. This is because consoles purchased in different parts of the world are set up for different coding. EG. PAL for Europe and NTSC for NA.

thats the disk version many regio locked contrnt is region free disks but not their dllc

Some content are region-locked, meaning you won't be able to download them.

So you will need to make an Australia account and purchase Australian Microsoft Points in order to download the region-locked content.

You can still use your UK account, but only if they don't have any regio locks on the content.
