My xbox one has been sent for repair. Now I would think this would be a RAM issue but I'm sure they check the ram. Anyways, my xbox one has a hard time opening other apps while playing a game. Ghosts is by far the worse of them all though, all games can
potentially do it. What happens is I start playing a game then try to read a message or watch Netflix or twitch while I'm in a game or lobby and the apps just don't open. 1. Either apps won't open at all and don't give you the option to quit and restart them.
    2. Take 1 minute upwards to start. 3. Infinite or prolonged spinning wheel. 4.apps will start the circle then close themselves or the game itself. 5. An error message saying took to long to start comes up after 45 seconds or so. The games run fine in themselves
and for the most part the apps run fine while I'm not in a game. I've tried tons of trouble shooting.1. Hard reset like 5 times. 2.unplugged. 3. Factory reset twice. Been a while.4. Cleared persistent storage. 5. Clear alternate Mac address. 6. Delete apps
or games. 7. Check internet. Download was 15.97 upload 1.08. 99 latency I believe. 8Dmz . 9 disable firewall and flood protection. 10 disconnected kinect. No differance . I'm at whits end here and will be getting rid of it if I can't fix. I am so frusterated

    :)

  3. Games&apps refuse to open

    Hi there!

    Apologies for the late reply.

If you are still running into the same issues with apps not starting we suggest following the

    crashing games guide.

If that does not help either be sure to
    soft factory reset
the console by choosing keep my games and apps on step 7.

Feel free to post back and let us know how the console is doing!

    HI,

i have the same problem!. For example: I play Call of Duty Ghosts and I want to Broadcast thru twitch, and it takes sometimes up to a minute to open twitch with the snap on feature! But if i open the application by itself it works just fine! I am assuming
its just the result of to much multitasking and not enough hardware resources! Its NOT A RAM Issue!.

  5. Yeah, but sometimes it just won't even open something like messages

. It is quite annoying and it sucks you have the same problem. Nobody else seems to have this issue where it can't be fixed by trouble shooting like ours.

  6. Btw just in case my xbox also randomly closes and dashboards games occasionally and my power supply makes a sound like ticking. It also gets quite warm but it has never overheated yet. Just in case these are connected somehow

Sorry, no idea on that. please try to connect the technical support by phone, they should be able to help you with this. Maybe your console needs to be serviced again.

  9. It may be a power issue. I've seen some of these issues before and many were easily rectified by making sure that the console was connected directly to the mains power, insuring that no surge protectors are present either. From the issues I've helped with
on Ambassador chat, many users connect their consoles using a serge protector, especially in the U.S.

The Xbox One can behave very strangely if the power being supplied isn't correct. This can include game crashes, console lock-ups and apps refusing to load.

  10. Well it's not connected to a surge protector and I've tried other power supplies
