    xbox one redeem code not working


    I recently got Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition and I want to redeem the code for the add-on content, however, whenever I try to redeem code on console I get an infinite loading screen, so I tried on the Xbox app on windows 10 and it tries to load for
    roughly 15 seconds and then just closes and finally when I try xbox.com/redeemcode it just takes me to a blank Microsoft page (none of these pages gives any sort of error message)

    also according to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status?xr=shellnav there are no problems with the server-side of things

    is this a problem with the server-side of things or something else?

    Hi. What are you trying to redeem? Some redeem codes are region locked meaning that they can only be redeemed in that specific country. So if you were given a redeem code for the US Xbox One, then the redeem code will not work for your version of Xbox
    One. Could that be the issue?

    Hi, you can redeem your code on any device on Microsoft's redeem code website, but the content will only work on the Xbox One, as that is what the code is for.

    Had to boot the game on the xbox one access the “Redeem Code” option within the game. Which opened the classic 360 redeem code screen within the emulated screen. Entered the code and it worked! I think the guide needs the redeem code screen added!
