    Xbox One Recording Feature Not Working


    To whomever it may concern

    Greetings, I have been trying to use the recording feature on Xbox to make some game clips. I plugged in an external hard drive to get a full sixty minutes per clip. The clips always start recording but midway through the timer, sometimes even earlier, the
    recording cancels and does not save the clip. Even when I manually stop recording before the hour is finished, it does not save the clip. I have retried it several times and each time seems to be getting worse. I know it is not an issue with my hard drive
    because it has ample space to store 1080p clips and it is also a USB 3.0.

    So I would like to inquire for a solution, if this is a problem that others have experienced. I am currently unaware of how to proceed with this issue.

    Abduljaleel, If you're having problems with the recording feature, you could install twitch on your Xbox. And record your clips that way because you can download your twitch streams as long as you have a computer, but if you don't have a computer, I honestly
    don't know.

    I tried Twitch, my upload speed is not good enough for a smooth stream. Will that not also cause the video to be laggy if I download it for editing?

    Make sure you don't have the Kinect head tracking enabled. I had trouble recording as well until I turned off the head tracking and everything worked. You can turn off the head tracking in the in-game menu in BF4. Hope this helps!

    I only had that problem with Battlefield 4. A quick fix for that is if you disable leaning and head tracking in the in-game menu. If you're having problems outside of BF4, then I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can shed some light on this for you...
