Xbox one record to memory drive

I can no longer record to my memory stick. The option ‘record from now’ is missing. I recorded something a few days ago without any problems. Now I can’ record any clips.

is anybody else experiencing this issue?

Thanks, the problem seems to be resolved but I will clean up the drive and see if that makes it more reliable.

The 'memory stick' may have failed. Try a different one.

Ok, since above. I tried the HD with no settings alterations and that worked. I switched back to the memory stick, did the storage check that you mentioned (Brad) and got the error above. I have reset the Xbox and it is now recording fine!

@{Parity} do you think the fault is with the stick? I have only ever used it with the Xbox and it has worked fine till today. It is a Sandisk Ultraflair 128gb. I have had it for a while. It is only about 10% full.

Hi, thanks for reply. I have since tried a HD and that works but the memory stick now says this “we can’t capture now” check again soon. (0x82323023).

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue recording clips. Have you went to storage and selected the memory stick where captures are to be saved? During an update this may have changed. Also are you in the insider program?
