    This seems like a reasonable idea to me. $100 might be a little steep for a busted console, but trading in usable consoles isn't really different than trading in a car at a dealership. And as for a busted one, why not? I just junked my car because the ***
    blew a head gasket, and they gave me $250 for it. They know it won't drive, but they could still salvage parts from it. So why can't Microsoft salvage parts from busted 360s? Then they could cut their productions costs, and probably claim it as "going green"
    and get a tax write off for it.

    It's not about what the console is worth. It's about rewarding dedicated customers. I've spent around $2000 on consoles alone.
