xbox one randomly loses connection to internet.

so I've had my xbox one for about a year/ year n a half. then just outta nowhere it started randomly losing connection to xbox live/internet. but its only for a second cause when i dashboard its connected. and if i run the connection checks everything says
I'm connected. i have 2 phones, an iPod, 2 laptops, a PS3 and an iPad all connected to the same wireless router and they don't lose connection. its just the xbox one. I've googled nd I've seen tons of people having the same issue as me but not one resolution.
anyone have any idea what causes this?

Xbox one loses wifi and wireless controller connection

I have a big problem with my xbox one. Everything was okay during first month but I have a problem with losing wifi and controller connection. Problem is randomly. Console just firstly lose connection with controller and after a few seconds internet loses
connection too. I did factory reset. What can I do?

X1 random moments!

so I've been experiencing some random,dare i say,odd glitches on my xbox one 1tb!

Randomly while playing, it will go to the dashboard, it doesn't seem to matter what game I play, it just will do this randomly every once in awhile!!

Also, while playing Titan Fall 2, the whole system will randomly lose Internet Connection(I'm running wireless).

Then when playing FIFA 15, while in a match it will randomly take me to the in game menu to switch teams?!

And every now and then the controller will randomly disconnect!

Any info would be helpful

Are you wired or wireless?

what is the make and model of your modem/router?

If you are wireless then it could just be something as simple as changing the wifi channel or switching to the 5ghz band if your router supports it

I have a western digital 1TB hard drive and I connected it to my Xbox one to play the movies that o had on it. Unfortunately,it randomly loses its connection to the Xbox one after random time intervals. I thought that this had to deal with the drove going
to sleep. Because initially it would lose connection after 30 minutes, which was the time that the sleep timer is set to by default. I went into the settings of the wd software that came with the drive and set the timer to never and saved the changes. This
worked for a short while, but now it randomly loses its connection right in the middle of a movie which is by far the most irritating thing. I assume it has to deal with the Xbox one OS because when I stream it from my surface with the hard drive it does not
lose connection.

Are you losing connection randomly? When you lose connection if you set your Xbox to offline mode you should be able to play most of your games.

Thats the weird part, the signal from wi-fi and connection to the router keeps the same, it justs lose the connection to the internet.

In AUTO mode it loses the IP address and DHCP error appears and in static mode it just loses the internet connection. But the connection to the router, the Wireless keeps the same.

i will test it on my brother in law's xbox one to see if it happens as on my one.

I think I figured out the problem, I just don't know how to fix it. I think my Internet connection randomly slows or diss connects, thus losing connection with the server. I've had the same Internet for awhile and I've never had problems. Is there any settings
I can change to keep the high speed connection for extended times?
