    Xbox One randomly ejecting discs

I only have my one Battlefield 4 game disc, but there are no scratches or smudges or anything of the sort on the disc. It's perfectly fine. I've read around and seen others reporting the same issue with multiple other discs. I have removed the disc and the
console will still attempt to eject a disc that is not in the drive. My console will be turned off completely at 10 o'clock and then by 3 in the morning it will turn itself on just to eject the disc that may or may not be in it. This will also happen while
playing the game, and it is completely irregular in all these cases. I contacted Xbox support previously and cleared persistent storage then did a hard reboot, but it still persists at random times. Out of the others that I have seen reporting this issue,
no one actually came up with a definite answer to solve it permanently. Any ideas?

    :)

    Hey mate,

That is very strange. Seems you've covered all the basic steps in trying to fix, with the hard reboot and all that.

All I could suggest would be to give the actual eject button a wipe to make sure there is nothing on there that is causing it to think you're pushing the button. I've had a look around on a few various forums, and also cannot seem to find a solution. I did
hear someone mention that they unplugged their console from the wall socket overnight, and it fixed the problem, so that might be worth a shot when you go to bed tonight. Otherwise, unfortunately, it may need to go for repair Xbox One randomly ejecting discs :(

Also, if you want to stop it from turning itself on to eject the disk, you can turn on power saving mode, which should stop it from ejecting the disc while it is turned off. Won't stop it doing it during the game though unfortunately Xbox One randomly ejecting discs :(

    Good luck

  5. I myself had this issue and tried everything and it was not working. Sent it in for repair took two weeks to get it back and even after getting back it worked great for a day then started doing it again. I have no clue what's causing it. I thought maybe
my eject button was dirty I wiped it clean still I'd it. So I tried wiping it down and putting a piece of paper and tape over the button to keep anything random from hitting it. Still my problem persists. This is very annoying and Microsoft needs to address
this recurring problem and find a solution ASAP

  6. Had the same issue with my son's console. After trying the steps via Customer Support was told to send the console in. Did this (18/10) but it appears that they decided to ship it back from Germany with the problem unresolved - was subsequently told that
the agent that hooked the repair had selected the wrong option from a drop down menu?, then told to send it back again (30/10). Finally received a replacement console on Friday. Sadly, this one is refurbished (not acceptable for personal circumstances) but
even it it was would have sent it back as it is srratched up and not a like for-like. condition as the one we had replaced. I am now waiting for this refurbished console to be collected by UPS under the Advance Exchange Programme (the quickes way to finally
    - hopefully - get this resolved once and for all but a hold has been placed on my account for over £300! I have to say I have been very disappointed with the service I have received in the last month by Xbox.com agents. Oh, com pension has been offered at
one month free Xbox Live which is utter nonsense - basically a direct replacement of what my son has lost whilst he has had no Xbox One for a month! So far! He is gutted to have missed out on so much - a pre-order game arrived a day early, not been able to
download any Games for Goldm lost out on FIFA Gold Packs which he should have claimed as I purchased him the Ultimate Edition, no access to any of the events, exclusive items that were available over the Halloween period, wait to start using the backwards
compatibility and, most importantly for him, he has lost his connection to his friends. He has "issues" and this is his only real means of communicating with friends of a similar age and interest via the chat and multiplayer games.

Been given no explanation as to what the issue is but was told by one rep that they'd not had this problem before which, having searched the Internet, is clearly untrue as there are many reports of the issue just like ours. In desperation, I posted a video
of what my son's console was doing on the UK Xbox Facebook page - no comment from tXbox on there either.

BEWARE! We had this issue from time to time but I did't think much of it because we download so many games. Two days ago just 5 days out of warranty our hard drive is completely frozen. For reference our Xbox would spit the disk out repeatedly and then it
would finally take it and load the game. Sometimes it would fail to read the disk all together. Then one day it we couldn't get it to return one of the games. Now it doesn't work at all. Junk.

Also having this issue, it's absolutely rediculous. I've all but quit playing games all together instead of sending it in for repair.

Is the eject button stuck? Are there any objects touching the button?

Have you also tried a power cycle?
