XBOX One randomly disconnects

I'm having an issue with my XBOX recently where I'm randomly being removed from games due to a lack of connection. I'll be playing a game like GTA or Destiny online and I'll randomly be removed from my group or session and be returned to a main menu where
I just rejoin again within a few seconds. These disconnects only seem to last about a second because as soon as I'm in a menu screen I can go back to playing online. In games like Madden this is happening too and it will ask me "who am i" as if I signed out
of my account while playing which I didn't and so I won't be able to save. In every case of being disconnected I've had nothing indicating that there was an issue with my ability to connect to my router, the router is working fine and no other devices including
my xbox 360 have been having any issues keeping a stable connection. The part that really confuses me is often times I'll be in a XBL Party chat while I'm being kicked from a game. I'll get an error message which usually reads something like "you've lost connection
to server/we have lost connection" but I'll still be talking with my friends via the internet anyway. It happens across multiple games and has become very annoying especially when it prevents me from saving in an offline game.

I'm not sure what exactly could be the problem here, I suppose it could be my internet but since only the one is having this issue I feel like its something wrong with the system itself. If anyone has a solution or can at least help me find the root of the
problem I'd be very helpful. Just in case its useful I'll put the network diagnostics below

Net Work Connection Test: Passed

Multiplayer Connection Test: Passed

Download speed: 6.28 mbps (tested again and got 3.59 mbps) (3rd test yielded 2.50 mbps) (4th test it jumped to 5.25 mbps)

Upload: 1.07 mbps ( barely changed during tests, by like .03)

Packet Loss: 0% (3rd test resulted in 1% loss, back to 0% on 4th test)

MTU: 1480

Latency 102 ms (106 on 3rd test and back to 102 for final test)

Wireless Strength: 84% (Note this still happens when I have my xbox in the living room where it tested 100% strength)

NAT Type: Open

Problem with controller

Both of my controllers are also disconnecting randomly

FIFA is the main game affected suffered 10 disconnects in one half!

I do have my xbox in the next room so not sure what the range of the controllers are

Same problem here.. Xb1 S controller randomly disconnects, original xbox one controller has no issues with xb1 S console...

Sorry to hear about the connection issues.

I see that you're using a wireless connection, have you been able to try a wired connection?

If that does not work, could you try connecting your Xbox One directly to your modem?

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, SINCE THE LAST UPDATE I CANT KEEP LOG IN ON LIVE BECAUSE IT DISCONNECTS RANDOMLY, AND THEN WHEN THIS HAPPEN I CANT SEE ANY OTHER WIFI AND IT SHOWS "HARDWARE PROBLEMS", IP PROBLEMS, DNS PROBLEMS, EVEN DCHP PROBLEMS, AND MY INTERNET
IS OK.

Could you please create a new thread explaining your issue in full detail as well as listing any troubleshooting steps you've already tried? Doing so will make it easier for everyone to assist you.

 

I'll try a wired connection and test that for a bit and get back with the results, I'm also trying a another possible fix so I'll be doing some testing and see if anything works and get back in a day or so

Alright so it took a while to find my long Ethernet cable but after a few days I think it is safe to say it was working fine when it was plugged in. No drops that I noticed so far
