    Hey guys. I'm planning to purchase an Xbox One soon, and need some answers to these questions. It would help me if you can answer all of them for me... Thanks!

    - Is the Expandable Storage on all Xbox Ones or only the newer models?

    - Do you need Xbox Live Membership to purchase games from the online digital Xbox Games Store?

    - Can you purchase digital games on the Xbox Games Store (via Xbox One) with PayPal? Can you purchase Xbox Live membership with PayPal?

    - Do I honestly need Kinect?

    - Any tips on what to be aware of with the product?

    Hopefully this will answer your questions.

    Is the Expandable Storage on all Xbox Ones or only the newer models?

    All Xbox One consoles support most external hard drives as long as the drive is USB 3.0 and has over 256gb of storage space.

    Do you need Xbox Live Membership to purchase games from the online digital Xbox Games Store?

    Can you purchase digital games on the Xbox Games Store (via Xbox One) with PayPal? Can you purchase Xbox Live membership with PayPal?

    You do need an Xbox live membership to purchase games however this does not need to be a Gold membership unless the individual game requires this when playing.

    Games can be purchased using PayPal as long as you are in one of the country's on the attached list. I have not used PayPal to purchase Xbox Live Gold so don't know if it's possible to do this.

    Do I honestly need Kinect?

    No you do not need Kinect to use the console but it does make some things such as recording game clips without disturbing the game you are playing easier.



    Any tips on what to be aware of with the product?

    Generally the games on Xbox One are much bigger than the last generation and you will fill up the internal storage quicker than you may expect.

    Xbox Live Gold membership will give you two Xbox One games a month and two Xbox 360 games playable via backwards compatibility.

    Well I've now got both consoles, The only real difference would be the exclusives tbh. I know they aren't cheap to buy but I couldn't decide on just one. Now Op, If you like XB then logically buy the xb1.

    There are no real issues apart from a shoddy Friends and Achievements list, everything else is bang on. There won't be a price drop in a year, not until at least end of 2015, so go ahead and buy it. Feel free to add me as a friend.

    I think the best advice anyone could give you is base your decision on games. The Xbox One may not be as powerful as the PS4, but I don't think it's anything to scream and shout about - of course the fanboys would think different.
    I don't think Microsoft will do anything with the Xbox brand (not anytime soon anyway) the console has not been out for long and it's doing well so far.
