Xbox One Question

Hey Xbox Community,

I am currently looking into a console but I have no clue what to choose. I really want a Xbox One but then people in other forums say that its not powerful enough and all this other stuff and im worried to get it. I just want to be happy with my purchase.

look around here alot of happy xbox one people.games are great updates are coming now so features being added.

one guy might jump in here and put you of the xbox one ignore him he is a sony fan boy lloyd

 

I agree I mean is amazon going to buy xbox and stuff. I just don't know and I love Microsoft and there system.

I highly doubt the amazon rumour. Notice anytime the Xbox has good press some awful rumour is created.

 

I haven't even heard of this amazon rumor and I think Microsoft would be a little more public about something like that and also not sell the Xbox brand right after a new console release. That's unbelievably hard to... believe.

Anyways, OP The xbox one has been great so far. I haven't more than probably 50 hours of gaming into it probably though because a lot of my friends and games are still on the 360. As for being worried about power, don't be, it is plenty powerful for what
it needs to do IMO and new features continue to be added to it and updated.

"power" discussions are irrelevant. The site that are covering things like that are doing it for the pageviews.

If you want control of framerate and resolution and visual effects, buy a PC where you have control over those things. You don't on a console.

If it has the games you want to play and the media features
you're looking for, why wouldn't you be happy?

 

Thanks I will probably be getting one with my tax refund. I love MS I use windows 8 and there phone and tablet all that can be used for xbox one

 

that Amazon thing is a complete RUMOUR.

 

Like I said just want to make sure my purchase would be worth it with no problems and underpowered and because of that issue some games wont come out to xbone

 

I also see a lot of people playing more xbox one then ps4 out there anyway and people who say they use the one more

 

The only way a game won't come out on the XBox ONE is if there's a 3rd Party Exclusive.

But even if "Titanfall" didn't exist... and it does... and it's coming out in March...

You've still got "Ryse: Son Of Rome", "Forza 5", "Dead Rising 3", "Call of Duty: Ghosts", "Battlefield 4", "Need For Speed: Rivals", "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag", "Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition", "Zoo Tycoon" and "Lego Marvel Heroes"... all of which
are amazing looking games that are gonna keep you playing for a long time.

And that's not even the entire catalogue.

So if you fancy a "ONE" yeah, now's a good time to get one. Especially with "Titanfall" around the corner.

I think the best advice anyone could give you is base your decision on games. The Xbox One may not be as powerful as the PS4, but I don't think it's anything to scream and shout about - of course the fanboys would think different.
I don't think Microsoft will do anything with the Xbox brand (not anytime soon anyway) the console has not been out for long and it's doing well so far.
