    Im planning on buying a new xbox one and selling my other one to a friend, he already has the plugins for it cause he bought them somewhere else. When i buy my new xbox one can i continue to use the power brick and hdmi cord that came with the one im selling
    or are they designed only for that specific one cause i plan on using the new plugs that it comes with as backups

    Xbox one question

    As Microsoft hasn't released a new hardware version of the Xbox One yet you can use the same cables you have for your new console.

    When new hardware (Xbox One Slim) comes out in the future which we all know it will, then sometimes the power cables change but when they do they set it up so you can't plug in the wrong one for safety reasons.

    Well I've now got both consoles, The only real difference would be the exclusives tbh. I know they aren't cheap to buy but I couldn't decide on just one. Now Op, If you like XB then logically buy the xb1.

    There are no real issues apart from a shoddy Friends and Achievements list, everything else is bang on. There won't be a price drop in a year, not until at least end of 2015, so go ahead and buy it. Feel free to add me as a friend.

    I think the best advice anyone could give you is base your decision on games. The Xbox One may not be as powerful as the PS4, but I don't think it's anything to scream and shout about - of course the fanboys would think different.
    I don't think Microsoft will do anything with the Xbox brand (not anytime soon anyway) the console has not been out for long and it's doing well so far.
