Xbox one Purchase issue

Hi everyone!

Last week give or take a few days there was a discount on Battlefield 4, 50% off. i clicked 'Buy' and the Xbox immediately started to download the game. it was very odd that the purchase window didn't appear but since my security settings set to 'no berries'
and it was after an update i didn't gave it too much attention.

I tried to play the game and i got an error. it says that i don't own the game. apparently there was a free play for a week while it was 50% off. i didn't know that all i know was that i wanted to purchase it and i clicked 'Buy'.

i also bought the premium the next day and now i can do with it nothing.

what can i do now?

do i have to pay twice as much?

I really don't think it was my fault, I clicked 'Buy' if there was a free play for a week why didn't the console ask me what i want to do, buy or play for free for a week?

furthermore, how can i buy a game that labeled 'Installed'?

Microsoft Account balance not a purchasing option

Are you talking about making purchases on the website for 360.or Xbox one

She can't help you with the 360.issue

This is only for the Xbox one and only supported for paid purchases on the website for Xbox one

 

Can't spend Microsoft Account Money on Xbox

I was experiencing this issue as well - it seems Xbox 360 games cannot be purchased through the website using money in your Microsoft Account. This issue does not exist with Xbox One games.

I can purchase Titanfall (Xbox One) using my credits, but I see no such option when trying to purchase Skyrim.

I can make the Xbox 360 purchase from the console using my credits without issue. I would recommend attempting to make the purchase from your console. While not as convenient, it should allow you to use your credits.

sorry to hear about your problem, I suggest in the first instance you check
here to look at the current price and see if the purchase button appears. It may say trial installed on X Date with a purchase button below. Secondly, have a word with the accounts team (via
this) to see if they have a suggestion about how to move forward. Discounts / refunds are not normally something entertained by the team but it is worth asking the question before having to buy
at full price.

It may be worth looking at
EA Access which includes BF4 (and other games) at a cheaper price than the standalone game.
