    XBox One PSU India Compatible


    Hi All,

    I purchased the XBox One console in US during a business visit and brought it to India. I contacted Online Chat support and they informed me that, it is possible for me to get a new PSU (India Compatible) which would cost me around 40$ and also gave Request#.
    India support number [Mod Removed] was also provided. Upon inquiring the India support, they said it is not possible to get a new one. Can someone help me pls?

    Moved to a 220v region with a 110v Xbox 360, what now?

    I brought XBOX360E from US on 22nd June 2014 when I was on visit to US. I came back to India. And I had a chat on 29 June 2014 with Microsoft Xbox support team and representative told me that the PowerSupplyUnit (PSU) will be replaced free of cost to India
    compatible PSU and only shipping charges would apply. He gave a India support number as Toll free: 000-800-440-1179. When I called on 30 June 2014 on this number, representative told me that PSU will cost me Indian Rupee 4179. When I checked on Internet with
    old users, they also says, microsoft replaces the PSU free of cost with India compatible PSU. Since last few hours, I'm trying Microsoft Support for xbox but nobody is able to tell me why there are charges to replace PSU from 110v to 220v. I was not expecting
    such scenario from Microsoft product. Its disappointing. I hope there would be solution to this..

    As you know the power supply from the USA Xbox is not compatible with India, and the voltage is different. Please see the link for
    contacting Microsoft Support in India. They will be the only ones to offer you a solution for your power supply as they're not sold separately.

    I just imported the original xbox one psu from UK(India and UK has same voltage) and it's running fine. You can get one on ebay.

    to Answer your question,:

    You would have access to Xbox live features, however you will need to change it to your UK address or US address.

    Xbox one india release date is september 23rd!So we are 3 months away

    UK PSU will work in india.

    Hi Vesuvian,

    As Daft badger told, it is not advisable to use Step Down. since it might devoid warranty.

    However there is another alternate method. If you go to service.myxbox.com(change your address to UK) you can actually order for a xbox one PSU for 30 pounds. and if you have some friends there tell them to ship it back to India.

    We bought X Box 360 S Model 1439 in USA and brought to India. The power supply unit (PSU) is of 110 V. I think we cannot use the same directly (with flat to round pin converter) with Indian Power Supply of 220V . I heard Microsoft will FREEly replace the
