Xbox One/PS4 GTA V update on Xbox 360/PS3

Hello! Does anyone have any idea IF Rockstar is going to make an update for Xbox 360 to the last GTA 5 that is on Xbox One and PS4? (You know, the graphics improvements, first person mode etc. update...) I need to know firstly IF they are going to do an
update and then WHEN. Thank you very much!

So, my brother wants to play Grant theft auto V but he doesn't have xbox 360or ps3 and he wouldn't want to wait to next summer to get to play xbox one or ps4 version of gta V on xbox one or ps4.

He wants to know if xbox one has backwards compability and he could play xbox 360 version of gta V on xbox one.

 

I doubt it. First Person mode, the graphic improvements and the like are for Xbox One/PS4 only.

Your edit at the end was not amusing.

 

So, the Xbox 360 can't run the new version, or R* makes you buy another game, more expensive than the x360 game, for the new update. If it's that so, in this summer i think that MS is going to release another gaming console (like i dunno - Xbox 180 ) and
then, when GTA 6 appears will only be available on the NEW console and you need to buy ANOTHER CONSOLE!!!

 

Rockstar isn't making anyone do anything. It's up to the consumer to decide if they want to get the re-release on Xbox One or not. You sound a bit upset about this... Look, if you want the new graphics etc, then get the Xbox One version. if you don't want
to get that, then stick with the Xbox 360 version. It's just that simple.

 

I can understand the graphics cant be done anymore better due to the xbox 360 only being able to output at 720p, but what about the first person? is first person being on the xbox one just another gimmick, or can the 360 actually handle it?

Mrelly2002, you should be happy that they even made it playable on the xbox 360. at least we can play it. and the graphics that are on the 360 are beautiful, the xbox ones graphics are just better because its a new gen console.

 

FPV was just a selling gimmick, the 360 could have handled it fine considering driving games already do it, GTA-O already has the camera mounted close enough while driving to make it a FPV. Not to mention theres a few FPS's out that are from a first persons
point of view..

 

yea your right, I don't know why I didn't think of far cry 4. everything is first person there. but I also thought about The Crew, that game is absolutely horrible on the xbox 360 and it doesn't even have FPV on the 360 either, and the graphics are HORRIBLE
compared to gta5, a game that was made 1 year before the crew.

 

Rockstar already stated that 360/PS3 wouldn't be able to handle first person. No the Xbox One version is not more expensive than 360. It cost the same $60 and you can transfer your online to next gen. Not sure where you got the idea Microsoft is releasing
a new console in the summer..

Oh a driving game has first person so it must be possible in a game 20 times the size. And what does first person shooters being in first person prove?

Most driving games are track based/non open world, have about 15 AIs max roaming this limited track, and apart from the animations of your hands moving the wheel, there aren't any. These racing games even have farrr less vehicles as GTA. Making a game first
person (from third) isn't as simple as moving the camera inside the car. EVERYTHING thing needs to be remade/updated.

The Far Cry series are made in first person, made for first person.

Legend get over Shark Cards already.

looks like bad 2020 was right. they push the shark cards for the dlcs to be free. but lets think, there are a lot of dlcs that are not worth buying. the only ones that are the ones that provide a big change in the game, like new apartments and must have
cars. legend wants a cops and robbers dlc, which if they did one, I could see a lot of people having fun with that since it is gta. I want a gym mainly, with the different fighting styles like wing chun, jeet kune do, Muay Thai, Muay Boran, Aikido,Capoeira,
Wushu, Krabi Krabong and Tae Kwon Do, boxing, wrestling, kick boxing, the ring to box in, man I know its just a gym, but with the xbox one the possibilities are endless of what they could do in just a gym. there could even be more things to workout on, and
they can even make it to where you lose weight or strengthen the part of your body based on the equipment your using, though I can kind of only see this possible on the xbox one. I seriously don't know why they added arm wrestling and not a gym. that should
have been in the gym.

 

@Grymm of Astora, FREE DLC =!= QUALITY DLC. Most of the DLC that they give out for free is just "rehased ***".
