Xbox one profiles/bios

It should be safe for everyone but remember as they have removed these features they have increased there profits how about they re invest some of that cash and make everybody happy.

Kids under 18 should be isolated on Xbox live to there own are where they can only play and interact with other kids.

And adults should be treated as adults. If somebody posts adult content so what you do what a adult does you either look at it and enjoy it!!! or don't look at it and move on. It's not going to hurt you it's just pictures videos and words.

It always amazed me people click on your name to read your bio then they get so upset at a couple of words they file a complaint it's stupid. How about that idiot minds his own buisness. If he can't handle what he might see he can stop clicking on people
proifile it's that easy.

 

I like the idea of separating kids from adults. Or maybe give them one chance and if they get reported and caught for posting something inappropriate then take away the privilege and make it so he only plays with others who have lost their privledges. If
people on xbox are going to act like kids then treat them like it lol, put them in the corner until they learn to behave.

I thought Xbox did say they were going to have a better reputation system, I haven't really seen them elaborate on the idea recently but if they do, then they can expand on it so easily with ideas like these so if they give more social privledges then xbox
live can be better for everyone.

 

I think they should add it back. It IS an Xbox console and 360 and xbox.com you can see it on your profile.

As for the situation that happened was it at the start of this year, it was probably left un-moderated for more than 48 hours because of the long holiday period. But Microsoft stepped in when they probably got a bunch of complaints from parents because it's
not just adults who read and participate on this forum. You do get some Support staff (S) who can play the role of M in removing objectionable stuff that bad on a legit clean site. I actually rang up Xbox Support and they got onto it right away. Bios and Location
should be put back on your profile and anyone who abuses the feature should have the privilege of that restricted or not allowed. You can't write swear words on a profile because there is at least some security in the Xbox system.

 

Although it would be nice to have a bio and a motto again, I can also see why they were removed in the 1st place.

You guys must realize that the Xbox Live service doesn't age discriminate, which goes hand-in-hand with other things they don't discriminate against. What many of you are suggesting is paramount to segregation and that is wholly wrong in every way possible.
The service is there for anyone and everyone, provided they follow the rules set forth by the service' code of conduct and terms of use.
