If you go here:
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us and select Billing, you can talk to Xbox Support about requesting a 1-month extension due to the service issues.

They may, or may not, honour it. However, in some cases they do, as a gesture of goodwill.

 

I'm sort of happy with the quality of Live since I bought my Xbox One. Other than the daily problems trying to sort a reliable party for me and my friends to chat in (which is very, very irritating).

Just a thought, but for the fact that this was a terribly timed f-up how about a little something as a sorry? I'm sure that many people weren't badly interupted when Live died but what about the people like me and my friends? We'd spent a good couple of
hours running through a very difficult mission online, we were making good progress and had got about 80% of the way through when suddenly everything went to ****! Not happy is a hell of an understatement...

 

I have trouble connecting to certain friends too. And I am having the same problem woth the service alert. How about calling them when the service alert is resovled and asking fpr help fixing the problem instead of posting about compensation. Instead of
getting help you will most likely get your post deleted as spam is you or pthers starting demanding to be compensated a problem that could be connected to your Nat settings and not necessarily due to Microsoft or Xbox Live.

Yeah iam also Having this issues with my xone and x360! Yes online Services habe Problems from time to Time,but now with the xone it seems to be becoming more often then ever! When there was just the 360 i nearly Never expierenced These Problems,at least
Not in this amount!

 

I have had my xbox one for about 3 months and have only encountered one service alert issue. Other than something I did that Microspft helped me fix when I called their support line I have not really had any trouble other than Nat connection issues with
friends that have odd firewall setups.

 

I have gotten two error codes when trying to sign in -- 87DD000F and 87DDD0019, both of which are reserved for service outages -- yet the site shows no service alerts. A hard reset of my console did not fix the issue. I'm in the preview program, but can't
report the issue there as I can't sign in. Here's the weird thing: while digging around the site, I saw a red service alert at the top of the page. When I clicked it, the Service Status page showed no issues. I clicked back, and the red alert was immediately
replaced with green text indicating that XBL is up and running. Something's broken, and it's so broken that it's breaking the Service Status page.
