xbox one: profile bar missing from dashboard

Hello,

The Profile bar from my xbox one dashboard has gone missing. It's the large bar that is usually to the left of the Game window and the recently used icons. It's like it was unpinned. I haven't been able to figure out how to re-pin it. Can anyone help?

I am able to sign in to my xbox one.

I can get on the internet.

I can play games.

Basically, everything is functioning ok, I just have a very hard time accessing my profile to check messages, settings, party, etc. The bar has just disappeared and I don't know how to get it back.

Any help is appreciated.

Missing profile bar on home page

On my Xbox One dashboard I don't have a profile bar on my homepage.? When I watch help videos or YouTube videos I see that people have the profile bar but mine is missing? Is anyone having the same problem

 

Missing Headers

Heya folks



For some reason, on XBox.com, I'm missing my headers in the green bar up the top of the site, just below my profile details. Normally there would be drop down menus here for My Profile, Support, XBox Live etc, but there is nothing there at all, just the
green bar.

In the latest October Xbox One Dashboard update, that profile bar was moved into the Friends section. Scroll to the right a bit and you should see it there!

Check our
Xbox One OS support page to check recent updates and what was added along with a video

here on that specific update.

I wish it wasn't removed that was really helpful in accessing your profile as quickly as possible

Sorry you're having issues with your profile bar. This thread is pretty old, so it's pretty likely that your issue is different than the OPs. Unless you've had this issue for about a year. and your Xbox has been up to date, I would suggest creating a new
thread with your exact problem so the community can assist you.
