    XBOX One processing speed


    My XBOX One has been performing very slowly in game. It is not a connection issue as the games are offline. Specifically I am playing Witcher 3 and loading saves and even NPC conversations are lagging. In between sentences the loading icon will appear in
    the bottom right corner and take a few seconds befor the convo will continue. The XBOX is slow to start, load, or respond to commands. Please help with this issue.

    Living in the UK, I don't buy into 'cloud processing'. We simply don't have the average internet speeds to deal with the technology yet. I'd rather have the processing power in my hardware, than have a worse online experience due to latency.

    I was talking about the processing of my computer...The Xbox 360 comes no wheres close to the processing speed of my PC. LOL. So if it takes that long for me, It'll be a lot longer for Xbox.

    XBOX One processing speed

    Hey SillyFoal122870,

    Lets try some things to see if it helps: (Note: If your part of the Xbox Preview Programm please post this issue in the Insider Forums)

    Lets try the following:

    1) PowerCycle

    - Press and hold the white Xbox Button on the Console until it shuts off.

    - Unplug the power cable for around 2 minutes.

    - Replug and Restart your Console. Try again.

    If its still slow try the next step:

    2) Reset

    - Power off your console

    - Unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (Xbox One: located on the left side of the console, Xbox One S: located on the front below the power button) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    - On the Troubleshooter select "Reset" and when asked select the option to "Keep your Games and Apps".

    Make sure you know your Email / Password combination of your Account before you do the Reset.

    Let us know if any of this changed your situation.
