Xbox one problems

I don't really understand what's going on with my Xbox, yesterday it was working fine but I turned it off and the next day it just wouldn't work, now it will either black screen, go onto the home screen not showing anything just a grey screen or sometimes
it will show the homepage with all my games but it doesn't allow me to play them instead if I insert a disk or click it my Xbox will just freeze and not allow me to do anything the same when I try to look at my friends list, it wont scroll down just freeze
and not let me do anything, it seems to work fine with me playing halo reach but nothing else, It also keeps saying connect to Xbox live which I have done multiple times but it wont show up any other panels, I've tried all sorts of methods to try and fix it
but nothing seems to be working..I'm wondering if my Xbox one is broken or not help??

Try doing a hard reset like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once

But the only problem is that all the panels are there but it will not allow me to see my friends list still.

Nope..just freezes the whole Xbox again.

 

It might be time to do a factory reset on your console. You may want to wait to see if anyone else has a different suggestion. Good Luck!
