Xbox one problems with chat

For the last 3 days I have sent messages and gotten messages but have not been able to see them because every time I open my chat tab in the guide the only ones there are from almost three months ago, and when I delete them and close the guide the same
ones I deleted are still there and it's starting to agitate me slighty because of the number of times I have restarted, shut down, and signed out of my xbox and this still continues. I have checked the xbox services to see if they are experiencing issues or
if something is down and nothing seems to be a down at all.

Are you able see the chats in either the xbox app or at Xbox.com, if they show up there, you can uninstall and reinstall your profile on the console. If they do not show up there, make sure your security proofs are up to date.

We all have to be patient with anything related to online servers right now. Things like xbox live are seeing unprecedented numbers of simultaneous users due to everyone being home.

As long as the isolation situation happens and the number of users is too high, problems and instabilities will arise...

No any message I can see are from early February and nothing since I have checked on the website and the app still seeing the same ones also checked to make sure my security is updated and it is so I'm not sure what is causing it but I will get a notification
that I received a message but nothing pops up if I hold the guide button to directly open the message it just shows me the ones from before.
