Xbox One problems, please help!

Ok so when I turn on my xbox it has just a straight black screen. So I tried the whole power cycle thing. It didn't work for the first 15 to 20 times. Then all of a sudden it finally progressed to the next screen which was the green title screen and from
here I thought all my problems were solved but I was wrong. Now it gets stuck there. So currently it starts up, stays on a black screen for about 2-5 minutes then switches over to the xbox one animation screen then stops there. I even left it on a whole night
from 10:30 pm to about 12:15 pm the next day and it was still the title screen with the xbox one symbol pulsing. Can anyone help and please give me some ways that I can fix this?

I rang my ISP and they suggested an engineer at a £50 cost - would rather that be a last resort!

It's literally only game servers I get disconnected from, not Xbox Live. It's also very sudden... no lag and then an instant disconnection and kicked from the game (Fifa & Destiny)

Hi there try a hard reset but also unplug it from the wall and wait 1-2 minutes, to see if that helps.

From what it seems like, your console was not able to download the update. So you will just need to download the update offline, and then you will be set. All you need is a computer than runs Windows, and a USB or Flash drive with at least 2 GB. Follow the
link below:

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

The video should explain most of it, but you will want to download either the OSUDT1 file or the restore to factory defaults file.

Which file did you download? If you have already tried both, then that means you will have to get a repair set up. you can do this 1 of 2 ways:

1) Go to myservice.xbox.com and set up a repair yourself

2) Call 1-800-4MyXbox and set up a repair with an agent.

I downloaded the factory restore one. But my xbox one doesnt even detect my usb until it reaches the green screen which is about 2-5 min after I start it up

 

Oh, make sure you have the router and modem unplugged before attempting this. For some reason, that if they are plugged in, the offline update wont work.
