Xbox One Prime Video error 0x80073cf0

Every time I open the app it tells me it needs a moment to prepare. Then it gives me the error (0x80073cf0) and tells me to remove and reinstall again. I've done that numerous times to
no avail. I've hard-started the Xbox twice. How do I fix this?

I bought the Xbox one x today, and wanted to download and open the Amazon prime video app. But there is always the problem 0x80073cf0. I deleted and installed this app 3 times or so... But it's always the same error message. Can someone please help me

I upgraded my xbox one to xbox one X today. Only problem I've had is with the app for Amazon Prime Video which we use all the time. After downloading it, it comes back with "getting your app ready" followed by a popup of "We're having trouble with this:
Try uninstalling and reinstalling this. To uninstall... ...(0x80073cf0)." I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least 8 times always with the same result. I can't seem to find anything on this error code. How do I get Amazon Prime Video app back?!?

 

Hi!

Try to clear the cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs and restart the app. Also check for updates on your console. It usually happens when the app is not updated to the latest version.

 

Yeah, I cleared the cache and made sure everything was updated already. I did it again just to be sure but no change.

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. Since your Prime video app seems to be giving you a bit of difficulty, even after restarting and uninstalling/reinstalling it, you may wish to try uninstalling it, performing a soft factory reset to the console's
operating system, and then reinstall the app. The reset you will need to choose is the option that allows you to keep your games and apps and you won't lose your game data. Its a great step to take as it will remove any potentially damaging files on your console's
operating system.

1. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.
7. On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.
   

Note If the console reset is successful, you may be prompted to repeat some general console set-up steps before you are returned to the Home screen.

Please be sure to know your log in information for yours or any profile on the console as you will need them to log your profile back in, as well as any network credentials for your internet connection.
