Xbox One Preview Updates

Hello I used to preview the updates on the 360 and would like to do so one the Xbox One as well. Is there anywhere I can go in order to register my interest or is it only by invite? If it is by invite only how can I maximise my chances of getting a invite
(what do they look for)? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi there Ahrimal at this stage it maybe by invite if you have friend thats in it you could ask them to invite you.

There is no way to currently get rid of the update. A factory reset will not remove the dashboard update, as it will redownload during the process. You will need to wait for the next week or two before the update is officially released.

If the forum is not available for you, check back in the next couple of days, there seems to be an issue going around regarding viewing permissions.

 

how do i invite a friend to this i have it but they dont

 

The forum 'Group Not Found' is kind of a large issue. Not sure, but the downed pages appear to be the only way to get an invite. I had to get support to add my friends tag to the forum. Seeing as it's down for the general pop. A few days (as Beacon stated)
is a huge impediment to a 1/2 week preview.

 

Could we get an official word on where exactly we should be requesting invitations for friends to join the update preview? I have posted twice in two separate areas with no feedback.

The link seems to be broken still. It's been a few days for me and it still reads "Group Not Found" when I try to visit the link to invite friends.

 

I joined up to preview the update with the intention that you could invite your friends aswell. For about 4 days now i have tried to access the forum and its locked. I am cut off from all my friends on live and havent even turned my xbox on for that time
because of it. This is a absolute joke I have about £700 of hardware and games that i dont want to use because of this thankyou microsoft. I have found out the joy of steam and will be trading in as soon as it is released on a console, after all these years
you would think you could get it right for once. The chat system has been a joke from day one if somethings not broke dont change it
